The Well

During my trip back to Seremban during the CNY, I visited my dad's birthplace. It's a very familiar place to me because I used to spend my CNY there during my younger days.

It's a very special & unique place because it's unlike what U can see in urban Singapore. I love the wooden planks that made up the house. I love the way the sunlight shines in through the tiled ceilings. I love the small garden with durian trees. I love the well from which we draw water for our cooking.

Best of all, I love the memories this place carries. I lived there for a while when I was young, babysat by my grandma before she passed away. I was there too by her deathbed. I remembered going to the market early in the morning with my grandma and she will always beam with pride when the neighbours commented what a good girl I was.

This is a place which contained beautiful memories of my childhood.
